Totalitarian control is achieved through indoctrination, whereby citizens are manipulated into giving up freedoms - mainly privacy - to ensure their safety from external and internal threats. These threats, created by the media, are often censored, misleading, vengeful and full of half-truths.










The digital headline board and newspapers re-appropriate headlines in an attempt to expose the primary prerogatives of the media. This is achieved by highlighting the true meaning and absurdity of language used to evoke emotion. Pop-ups appear throughout the video obscuring headlines, which represent tactics of distractions employed by the media (Reality TV, Sport, Celebrities, etc.)
